My name is Lore Pagán and I live in Aurora, Illinois with my family. My interest in babywearing began shortly after the birth of my first daughter. My husband and I were so excited to bring her home from the hospital. The first two weeks at home were amazing! Soon after that the non stop crying began. Every time we put her down, she started screaming, even if she had been sound asleep. It happened every time like clock work. We didn’t know what to do. It was impossible to get anything done. My daughter wanted to be held every minute of the day! As long as she was held she was content. My husband and I would take turns holding her and many times we would fall asleep in the recliner with the baby in our in our arms. After several weeks of sleepless nights, I turned to the internet in hopes of finding a solution to our problem. This is where I discovered baby carriers and the benefits of babywearing.

I read as much as I could about babywearing and I knew I had to give it a try. The first baby sling I purchased was a ring sling. It was truly a life saver. My daughter was so content in her sling and my hands were finally free to tend to daily tasks. The sling was very comfortable and I used it daily. I started to venture out of the house with it and everywhere I went people commented on how beautiful and practical the sling was. People constantly asked me where I had bought it. I wanted to share these wonderful baby products with other mothers. I also wanted to find a way to work from home so that I could dedicate more time to my family. This is how Posh Baby Palace came to be.

Posh Baby Palace is not a brick and mortar store, but if you live nearby I offer private consultations in my home in Aurora, Illinois. I will show you the different types of baby slings and carriers featured on this site and you will have the opportunity to try them out. This can be very helpful when you are just not sure which type of carrier would work for you! If you purchase a baby sling or carrier the consultation is free. If no purchase is made, you will be charged a consultation fee of $15.00.
